Melt in Your Mouth Sweet Cream Pancakes



I don’t know about you, but I happen to like my pancakes the “classic” way, topped with butter and maple syrup. But it’s also fun sometimes to mix things up and add different toppings. Below I have also included the recipes for a few toppings. The same pancake batter but made four different ways. Not only can you enjoy these amazing Melt in Your Mouth Sweet Cream Pancakes the classic way, you can also make them Birthday Cake style (my kids favorite), covered with chocolate chips and peanut butter syrup or layered with a cheesecake topping and chopped strawberries! Melt in Your Mouth Sweet Cream Pancakes

Amazing Melt in Your Mouth Sweet Cream Pancakes is the best pancake recipe around and will be the only pancake recipe you’ll ever need! Sweet and dreamy!

INGREDIENTS;

Sweet Cream Pancakes;

  • 2cupsflour
  • 2tspbaking powder
  • 1 tspBaking Soda
  • 1/2tspSalt
  • 1/3cupSugar
  • 2eggs
  • 2tspVanilla Extract
  • 3cupsheavy cream

Birthday Cake Pancakes;

  • 1 recipe Sweet Cream Pancakes (above)
  • Rainbow Sprinkles
  • Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped Cream
  • Maple Syrup

Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes;

  • 1 recipe Sweet Cream Pancakes (above)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1  cup powdered sugar
  • Strawberries chopped
  • Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • Maple Syrup

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip;

  • 1  recipe Sweet Cream Pancakes (above)
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Four pictures of sweet cream pancakes with four different sets of toppings.
INSTRUCTION;

Classic Sweet Cream Pancakes;

  • Mix all ingredients together. Heat griddle to medium high heat (about 300 degrees) and spray with cooking spray. Place approximately 1/4 cup of batter on the griddle for each pan cake. Cook for 2-3 minutes until little bubbles begin to appear. Flip the pancakes over and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Top the pancakes with butter and maple syrup.

Birthday Cake Pancakes;

  • Follow the instructions above for Sweet Cream Pancakes, but after placing batter on the griddle, sprinkle the pancakes with rainbow sprinkles. Then flip and continue cooking.
  • Top the pancakes with more sprinkles, butter, maple syrup and whipped cream.

Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes;

  • To prepare the cheesecake topping, beat the softened cream cheese in a bowl until creamy. Add the vanilla and the powdered sugar a little at a time until incorporated. In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Follow the instructions above for Sweet Cream Pancakes, but after placing the batter on the griddle, sprinkle the pancakes with chopped strawberries. Then flip and continue cooking.
  • Top each pancake layer with the cheesecake topping, more chopped strawberries and graham cracker crumbs. Pour on some maple syrup , if desired.
